Day 1: Salta

Reception at the airport of Salta. Transfer to Hotel. Night in Salta

Day 2: Salta – Quebrada de Humahuaca – Iruya (2800 msnm)

Breakfast. Pick up early in the morning by the Hotel, way to the Quebrada de Humahuaca, Jujuy through the route of Yungas. During our trip was crossing the towns of Purmamarca, Tilcara, Uquía and Humahuaca, From this last town, crossing 20 km take the path that leads to route N 133 to Iruya. This town is located on narrow cobbled streets. Surrounded by a stunning landscape and anchored in the past, Iruya preserves the roots of an ancient culture that still permeates their typical celebrations such as the Pachamama in August and the festivity in the first half of October. Accommodation in Hostel in Iruya.

Day 3: Trekking Iruya- San Juan (3090 m.s.n.m.)

San Juan, is located 14 km northeast of Iruya and reach the village takes about 6 hours walk passing through stunning mountains. In this small village, only be reached by foot or mule. Its people live on cultivation of the land and animal care. During this day there are many opportunities to observe condors. Locals Night at home experiencing their domestic habits. Day 4: Trekking San Juan - San Isidro (2900 msnm)

We leave San Juan in the early hours of the morning picking up part of the road traveled the previous day and rising to Abra Pati Pampa, then we take a new track that take us to San Isidro. Walking time is about 4-5 hours on animal path´s surrounded by towering mountains. San Isidro, craft village, where a large number of this people live by their sales. Free afternoon to enjoy the place. Nigh in San Isidro.

Day 5: Trekking San Isidro – Iruya (2800 msnm)

In the morning we start the trek back to Iruya by the path on the river, only passable by car during the winter season. Arrive takes approximately 2 to 3 hours walking. We arrive at noon. Lunch and overnight at the Hostel in Iruya. Afternoon free to enjoy Iruya.

Day 6: Iruya – Salta

Breackfast. Back to Salta City by the same route we went. Night in Salta.

Day 7: Airport

Trasnfer. end of service
